Core Gameplay Loop

Draughts Board Challenge follows the standard rules of the classic game. Two players take turns moving their pieces diagonally across an 8x8 board. The goal is to capture all of your opponent's pieces or block them so they cannot make a legal move. Captures are made by jumping over an adjacent enemy piece into an empty square. If a piece reaches the opposite end of the board, it is promoted to a King. Kings gain the ability to move and capture in any diagonal direction, adding a layer of tactical depth.
